2023-2024 Online Student registration will be available after July 20th, 2023. Prior to completeing online registration the Initial Registration form must first be completed and turned into the school office. You can also view and fill out the 2023-2024 Freshman Course Selection
If you are out of district and wish to attend Summerville High School you must first complete a Inter District Transfer Form and Inter District Contract Agreement prior to any registration forms. Once your student has been been approved you will recieve a letter from the district office informing you to start the registration process.
Interdistrict Transfer Information:
In accordance with an agreement between the Governing Board and the board of another
district, a permit authorizing a student of either district to enroll in the other district may be
issued upon approval of both districts.
IDT agreements are accepted for the following school year from January 1 of each year until
the first day of school unless a change is necessary to overcrowding/impact of grade/program
level. The Superintendent or designee may deny initial requests for interdistrict attendance
permits due to limited district resources, overcrowding of school facilities at the relevant
grade/program level, or other considerations that are not arbitrary.
Agreements will be accepted as long as programs are not impacted, current attendance of the
student is at 90% or better, grades are passing with at least a 2.0GPA, and disciplinary
referrals are at a minimum. Any student that is expelled or is up for expulsion will not be
Applicable timelines for processing a request:
a. For an interdistrict transfer request received by the district 15 or fewer calendar days before
the commencement of instruction in the school year for which the transfer is sought, the
district will notify the parent/guardian of its final decision within 30 calendar days from the
date the request was received.
b. For an interdistrict transfer request received by the district more than 15 days before the
commencement of instruction in the school year for which the interdistrict transfer is sought,
the district will notify the parent/guardian of its final decision as soon as possible, but no later
than 14 calendar days after the commencement of instruction in the school year for which
transfer is sought.
c. Note: failure of a parent/guardian to meet any timelines established by the district shall be
deemed an abandonment of the request.
