Happy Autumn! Here are some exciting happenings on campus and some important information!

Please communicate with teachers if you have any questions or concerns about your student’s grades.

Thanksgiving Vacation

Thanksgiving Vacation is the week of November 25 through the 29th.  

Spamalot!

Our amazing and  talented High School students will be performing Spamalot! in November! Tickets can be purchased online (see our school website) or at the door.  Performances are as follows:

Musical Performances

Fall Pops Choir Concert: Oct 30th, 7pm in the theater!

Jazz @8 is performing with Foreigner at Westside Pavilion on Oct 12th. Don’t miss it!

Attention Seniors!

A FAFSA workshop is being held for Seniors and parents on Oct 15th from 5-7pm in the computer lab. 

UC/CSU applications are due Nov 30th!

SoberGrad!

The SoberGrad committee is still looking for members and volunteers! Contact the school office for more information! This event only happens if parents get involved!

ASB Fundraisers

ASB is selling Sees candy! Contact Deena Soto for information about placing an order!

The ASB Panda Express fundraiser will be held October 31st from 10:30 AM until closing. Please mention Summerville High to cashier so we receive credit and proceeds from your purchase!

Fall Sports 

Our Fall Sports Season is underway! For schedules for the following Spring sports, please check the athletics page on the Summerville High website (https://www.summbears.net):

  • Football
  • Volleyball
  • Girls’ Golf
  • Cross Country

Rain may cause events to be cancelled and/or rescheduled. Please communicate with coaches and watch for changes on the sports calendar online.

Inclimate Weather Transportation Reminder

When Inclement weather occurs, we welcome any student to ride the bus, as safety is our focus.  No bus fee, no problem. No student will be turned away. We want our students to arrive safely.

Feed the Bears

The Summerville High Foundation will be hosting the annual Feed the Bears fundraiser on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at 4:00 PM at the Black Oak Casino Resort Hotel.  Proceeds support arts, academics and athletics at Summerville High School! Tickets can be purchased at the high school office or at summervillefoundation.org. Please call (209) 536-9227 for more information! Enjoy dinner, live music and an auction and help support our programs and students!
